my approach
My approach is thoughtful, exploratory, and grounded in open dialogue. Rather than offering advice or quick solutions, I work alongside you to better understand how you are experiencing your life—how you think, what you assume, and how those patterns shape the choices you make.
Our conversations are a space to slow things down. Together, we look more closely at what might usually go unquestioned: the expectations you carry, the beliefs that guide you, and the tensions you may be navigating. This might include uncertainty about direction, difficulty making decisions, or a sense that something in your life doesn’t quite fit, even if it looks fine from the outside.
I don’t see these experiences as problems to fix, but as something to explore. By bringing greater awareness to them, you are better able to respond more consciously, rather than reacting automatically or staying stuck in familiar patterns.
My role is not to tell you what to do, but to support you in thinking more clearly and honestly about your situation. At times, this may involve challenge as well as support—gently questioning assumptions or drawing attention to things that may be difficult to face, always with care and respect.
Over time, this process helps you develop a clearer sense of how you want to live, and the confidence to make choices that reflect that. The aim is not to arrive at a perfect answer, but to relate to your life in a way that feels more intentional, grounded, and genuinely your own.
who i work with
I work with people who find themselves questioning how they are living and wanting to understand their experience more deeply.
You might feel uncertain about your direction, even if things appear to be going well on the surface. You may be facing a decision, a transition, or a growing sense that the life you are living doesn’t quite reflect who you are or what you want. At times, this can show up as feeling stuck, disconnected, or under pressure to meet expectations that don’t fully fit.
Some people come to this work with a clear difficulty they want to address; others arrive with a more general sense that something isn’t quite right, but find it hard to put into words.
You don’t need to have a specific goal or problem to begin. What matters is a willingness to reflect, to question, and to engage honestly with your experience.
This work tends to suit people who are open to exploring things in depth—who are less interested in quick fixes, and more interested in understanding themselves and their lives more clearly.
your part in the process
This work is collaborative, and what you bring to it matters.
You don’t need to arrive with clear goals or fully formed thoughts, but a willingness to reflect, to question, and to engage honestly with your experience is important. At times, this may involve sitting with uncertainty, or looking at things that feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
The process works best when you are open to exploring your assumptions and considering different perspectives, even if you don’t immediately agree with them. It’s not about forcing change, but about being willing to look more closely at how you are living and what may be shaping that.
There’s no expectation to “perform” or to get things right. But a level of curiosity, patience, and commitment to the process will allow the work to develop in a meaningful way.

Practicalities
I am based in Cornwall and offer coaching sessions both in person and online via Zoom. In-person sessions take place at my home near St Agnes, providing a quiet and confidential space for reflection and conversation.
I work Monday to Friday, generally between 9am and 5pm, and can also accommodate some evening sessions where needed. Together we can arrange a schedule that feels practical and supportive for your circumstances.
